Sculptural Installations Joy Form

Inspired by familiar childhood objects - beach balls, marbles, candy, and playground toys, JoyForm™ is a series of large-scale sculptural works designed as symbolic anchors that reconnect people with optimism, joy, and shared memory in an increasingly disconnected world. The series distills early positive memories into a refined contemporary public-art form and stands as a symbol of unity and wellbeing in global urban environments.

This exclusive collection integrates art, architecture, and emotion into a high-impact statement that redefines how luxury spaces speak to the soul.

'Childhood Joy', 78cm diameter, Fiberglass, available

JoyForm™ is created to transform public space through colour, joy, and emotional resonance. Drawing on the visual language of childhood play, the sculptures generate immediate familiarity and optimism. The installation is rooted in a larger cause: restoring meaning, presence, and shared values in an overstimulated and fragmented world. Designed for outdoor settings, the spheres function as contemporary landmarks — points of gathering, reflection, and shared experience.

Their colour structure and simplicity allow the works to communicate clearly with audiences of all ages. Children respond to their playful familiarity; adults connect to themes of memory, expansion, and emotional renewal.

JoyForm™ positions public art as a tool that uplifts communities, enhances placemaking, and reflects a cosmopolitan, optimistic identity. The sculptures operate as joyful interruptions in the urban landscape — universal reminders of what connects us.

ARTIST STATEMENT

'My work examines how art can restore presence, meaning, and emotional clarity in a world increasingly shaped by noise, speed, and fragmentation. I am interested in how simple, universal forms can shift the emotional atmosphere of a public space — creating anchors that reconnect people to optimism, joy, and shared memory. Bubble of Joy continues this exploration through colour, reflection, and the distilled language of childhood.

Throughout my practice, I use clarity of form and high-gloss surfaces to activate a sense of immediacy. The sculpture draws inspiration from childhood objects such as beach balls, candy, marbles, and playground toys — shapes that carry an instinctive sense of joy and familiarity. By abstracting these early memories into a contemporary sculptural form, the work invites viewers to reconnect with a part of themselves that often becomes lost in adult life.

My broader artistic view is rooted in the belief that public art can influence the emotional landscape of a city. In environments dominated by overstimulation, screens, and constant distraction, I see art as a stabilising force — a way to reintroduce clarity, connection, and shared values. Through reflective surfaces, vibrant colour rhythms, and precise simplicity, I aim to create visual experiences that bring people back to themselves and to each other.

My father was a renowned sculptor, and being exposed early to his practice introduced me to scale, form, and the discipline of public sculpture. That environment shaped my understanding of how art can inhabit space, influence emotion, and become part of a community’s identity. This foundation continues to inform the clarity, ambition, and spatial awareness that define my own large-scale work.

The JoyForm™ series embodies these principles. The spherical form acts as a quiet centre point within the urban environment — a place where the individual and the collective briefly meet. Viewers see their surroundings reflected, but they also see themselves. In this interplay, the sculpture becomes a reminder of belonging, presence, and emotional wellbeing. It transforms a familiar childhood aesthetic into a universal symbol that resonates across cultures and generations.

Ultimately, my practice seeks to reconnect a disconnected world — not through complexity, but through clarity, colour, and the emotional power of form. It is an invitation to pause, to breathe, and to remember the joy we share'
